Public event: Launch of the DIGHT-Hub

On 1 December 2025, Tallinn University’s School of Humanities will launch the DIGHT-Hub, a joint research hub for digital cultural heritage studies. The Hub is being established within the framework of the Horizon Europe Twinning project DIGHT-Net, in collaboration with the University of Bologna (UNIBO), the University of Amsterdam (UvA), and the University of Turku (UTU).

The DIGHT-Hub is envisioned as a permanent, interdisciplinary, and international research and training network at TLU, dedicated to advancing research, teaching, innovative archive practices, collaboration, and sustainability in the field of digital cultural heritage.

The launch event will begin with welcome speeches, followed by a panel discussion featuring international and local experts.

During the reception, it will be possible to explore the exhibition “Between Paper and Pixel: The Lotman–Mints Archive in Transition”.

The event is free and open to the public, with a video stream available for those unable to attend in person on YouTube.
